1. Colorado Dragon Boat Festival
The Colorado Dragon Boat Festival returns to Sloane Lake Park. this weekend after a two-year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic. Enjoy dragon boat racing, delicious food, an Asian market, endless entertainment and thousands of community members gathered for the annual fun party. 2. Yoga on the rocks
Yogis of all skill levels can greet the sun with a dip in the tranquil and beautiful outdoor setting of the world's most spectacular venue, the Red Rocks Amphitheater. Tickets are $17 per show and go up depending on how many Saturdays you want to do Down Dog Pose at Morrison's. Tickets can be purchased online here.
3. Evergreen Summer Festival
Attracting artists from across the region and featuring nearly 100 booths for visitors, this annual two-day festival features live music from favorite local bands, live music from food and drink vendors, a playground for creativity and fun, and beautiful scenery for all. this is fun! 4. Royal Canyon Whitewater Festival
The 13th Annual Royal Canyon Whitewater Festival (RGWF) features whitewater competitions and waterfront recreational activities celebrating whitewater season on the Arkansas River. Canyon City's restored, family-friendly Centennial Park Whitewater Festival combines boats, bands and beer for a fun (and whitewater-filled) weekend. For more information, click here.
5. Sunrise and sunset in Winter Park
USA Cycling will host the Winter Park National Trail Championships for the third year in 2022. This section of the course is ideal for the 12-hour relay module used in Sunrise Till Dusk. For more information, click here.
6. 9 n. Peru's Annual Independence Festival
The 9th Annual Peruvian Independence Festival at La Raza Park brings together Colorado's Peruvian community and celebrates Peruvian Independence Day on July 28th. Denver7 is a proud sponsor of the Peruvian Independence Festival. Visitors can enjoy Peruvian cuisine, including ceviche de pescado, lomo saltado, anticuchos de corazon and more. The event also features Peruvian dances and musical arts. Entrance to the festival is free.
7. I'm a Masterpiece – Intentional Health
Join the Center for African American Health at the City Park Pavilion on July 23, 2022 for the finale of our "I Am" series at the Masterpiece Health Fair. Although there will be no walk or run this year, you can expect plenty of exhibits and activities in the park for all ages.
