#20. Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

Located in South Carolina, Hilton Head Island is renowned for its pristine beaches and natural habitats.
Learning about the local flora and fauna from naturalists and birdwatchers at destinations such as Audubon Newhall Preserve and Pinckney Island National Wildlife Refuge enriches the trip.
